Ligier Richier (* um 1500 in Saint-Mihiel; † 1567 in Genf) war ein französischer Bildhauer der Frührenaissance. Er entstammte einer sammielloiser Steinmetzfamilie. Er wurde unter anderem in Italien bei Michelangelo ausgebildet. Seine Werke finden sich vorwiegend in seiner lothringischen Heimat. (Wiki)
